The drop as it is I really like... what I don't like is too much black space and centrally positioned drop.. IMHO I'd crop really tight from bottom and upper side and make it sort of wide panorama shot ... hope you understood what I mean

Overall a nice shot. Looks like you added the black background (or at least darkened the background) in post production; on my screen I can see grayish splotches all around the leaf where you apparently didn't apply your brush strokes--you've gotta clean that up!
